Working closely with Congolese communities and government leaders, PATH addresses some of the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) toughest health challenges. We apply our on-the-ground expertise to HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, digital health and neglected tropical diseases as well as reproductive, maternal, and child health. Our work includes advocating at the national level to strengthen funding for essential health interventions, such as immunization; providing targeted technical assistance; leveraging our relationships with funders, private industry, community-based organizations, and others for sustainable results; and adapting and introducing innovative, low-cost technologies and evidence-based best practices. Our operational presence in the DRC has grown steadily since 2009.

Are you excited by the prospect of transforming the DRC's health system through the application of technology and innovations? Do you have experience of consulting or working in the tech field and of leading teams to drive systemic and transformative change in an emerging or developing country? PATH DRC is looking to hire a digital health expert to development and deployment of tools to strengthen Covid-19 vaccination.

The consultant will carry out the following activities:

•  Work with the PATH team and all other stakeholders to define, implement and monitor progress against a workplan for CN-18/USAID funding to implement digital tools in support of Covid-19 vaccination efforts
•  Work with BlueSquare and the PATH team to develop and deploy a dashboard to provide real-time and up-to-date information on vaccine coverage and availability
•  Work with BlueSquare and the PATH team to support dissemination and use of the dashboard for target audiences
•  Work with the Digital Square Team on other digital health initiatives- as assigned by supervisor

Period of performance: June 13th - September 30th, 2022. The agreement is for 80 working days in total
