Ensure an efficient “Procure to Pay” process for Passive Infrastructures and Services Spends of Mobile Network, Datacenters, Shops and Facilities. It encompasses categories such as Power, Energy, Cooling, Civil Works, Construction, Renovations, HSE,Sustainability…
- Responsible for managing a Country Procurement related to one or several Categories to meet local targets of cost, quality, time, guarantees and services
- Responsible of efficiently managing the “day to day” relationship and transactions with Suppliers within his/her Categories, ensuring compliance with contracted terms and conditions, and Company’s Internal Control policies
- Plan and execute operational and tactical supplier management tasks for her/his team categories
- Involve in fairly high-complexity procurement (within operational and tactical classification)
- Deliver Ambition Zero Carbon agenda to 2025 relating to energy supply contracts, decarbonise energy supply/consumption
- Promote Vodcacom Healf and Safety vision and objectives, both internally and externally, in order to secure the target of ‘0’ Fatality amongst Vodacom and its supplier base
Supply
- Receive the needs for products and service from internal stakeholders
- Issue Requests for Quotations for the selection of suppliers for needed products and services.
- Ensure the best cost modelling (considering total cost ownership) and negotiations for each purchase project.
- Ensure an efficient Supply plan (no out of stock)
- Monitor the Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order progress within the Requesting Department.
- Identify delays, resolve or escalate them to right line manager if necessary.
- Records cost savings realized on a monthly basis.
- Create synergies with the other Vodafone Operation Companies
- Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders
Processes
- Assist internal stakeholders with the registration of new suppliers.
- Manage and develop relationships with suppliers to monitor better service performance.
- Carry out the evaluation of key suppliers and potential future partners.
- Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into Vodacom Innovation and Renovation processes.
- Constitute an efficient database of suppliers by product or service
- Ensure code of ethics is applied all along the supply process.
- Use Procurement tools, processes, policies and standards.
- Interact with internal stakeholders and other business influencer, and engage cross functional activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management processes

1. University or Engineering Degree in Electricity, Electromechanic or Construction is a must
2. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or other professional certification in Bussiness Administration, Finance or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
3. 5 years working experience in Telecommunication, Energy,Industry or Construction environment.
4. Fluency in English and French
5. Trained to High level in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

1. Over a sustained period, has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend category in charge.
2. Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects.
3. Has demonstrated successful use of Total Cost Ownership analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management.
4. Has successfully negotiated/ led project in cross functional teams
