This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our Resource Development team to help grow our commercial funding portfolio. You will work closely with country and technical teams to support identification, positioning, bidding and contracting of tenders from key donors such as the FCDO, EU and USAID. As framework coordinator for Alert’s growing number of framework agreements, you will liaise with partners and donors as well as colleagues to maximise opportunities and ensure effective management of contractual obligations. You will also collaborate across the organisation to improve our capacity to identify, win and deliver commercial contracts to complement our extensive grant funding portfolio.
We are looking for someone expert in commercial tenders, with a proven track record in bringing people together to develop winning bids. You should bring a strong understanding of working with peacebuilding multilateral and bilateral institutions, a network of suppliers and/or consultants, and an ability to provide technical support and guidance to colleagues in different country contexts.
In return you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and creative team, working across programmes and technical teams to secure new funding and improve our approaches to commercial contracts. The position sits within our global Resource Development team and is open to applicants to be based in any of our countries of operation (subject to permits). Working patterns vary between contexts, but flexible working arrangements are available including remote working, compressed hours and part time options.

Act as framework coordinator for Alert’s framework agreements
