Chemonics seeks a Coaching and Mentorship Consultant for the Democratic Republic of Congo portfolio under the Global Health Supply Chain-Technical Assistance (GHSC-TA) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Francophone Task Order (TO). The Francophone TO under the GHSC-TA IDIQ provides technical assistance for strengthening regional, national and sub-national health supply systems through its portfolio of projects in Francophone Africa, including Benin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Niger, Togo, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, and Cote d’Ivoire. The project serves the health commodity technical assistance needs of USAID, other USG agencies, partner country governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other entities across all health elements (e.g. malaria, family planning, HIV/AIDS, TB, maternal and child health, etc.) and represents a mechanism through which USAID offers global health commodity-related technical assistance in:
The Coaching and Mentorship Consultant will support the creation of a coaching and mentorship program to build capacity among government partners in supply chain management in the DRC. The goal of this program is to empower government partners to make decisions and develop and manage their teams. The training will begin with a pilot phase involving not only Ministry of Public Health executives at national level, but also GHSC-TA Francophone TO project staff, who will then be able to scale up the program up by training government partners at provincial level. The consultant will also support the University of Kinshasa School of Public Health in establishing a master’s program in health logistics and other higher education and university institutions in implementing a graduate and bachelor’s program in health logistics.
